This device is unique in that it utilizes an expandable flange driven by a precision turned stainless steel arbor, an exclusive from ProMAXX®. It provides stable mounting of the tool directly into the exhaust passage of the EGR tube side of the exhaust manifold without messing around with removing it. We engineered the device to remove one or both mounting bolts simultaneously. We’re talking crazy – FAST!
Drilling under the hood is difficult enough, so we didn’t stop with easy stuff like alignment. We engineered guide bearings that spin in fast to facilitate spot-on boring and machining the entire damaged TITANIUM alloy fastener completely out.

We engineered heavy-duty stainless steel inserts that rebuild the manifold to as good as new and lock right in.
